Taking place in the depths of darkness, Chanukah is a celebration of light. What better way to celebrate the festival than by creating light with the community?
We’re thrilled to announce that this year’s Islington Menorah will be specially created by the Jewish community of Islington during collaborative arts workshops with local artists. The Menorah will then be unveiled and lit during our annual Chanukah celebration, the Islington Menorah Lighting on Sunday 2 December 2018 at Islington Green.
The workshops will take place on Sunday 25 November at Chabad Islington. They are open to all ages and free of charge.
