Closing Evening: The Joy of Life

Keren Keet is a London based artist working in fine art, illustration, cartooning and education.

Keren’s passion for art began in early childhood, flourished through her time in school, and though she studied English Literature at university, she frequently steered her focus towards fine art and illustration in relation literary texts.

Shortly after graduating, she began to pursue her freelancing career, and despite being busy with a young family, was soon publishing cartoons on Aish, and later had a regular column for in the international publication, Mishpacha Magazine. She also worked extensively with the United Synagogue, including illustrating their Early Years Siddur, and in Jewish greetings cards, eventually establishing her own popular line of humour cards.

Throughout her career in illustration and cartooning, Keren continued to pursue her love of fine art, producing paintings and drawings exploring a range of genres; portraiture, still life, animals and Judaica subjects.
