About the event
When the original correspondence between her adopted grandparents in Highams Park and her real grandparents in Vienna came to light, Annie Cornbleet knew she wanted to tell their story in film. Written over a three month period at the start of 1939 and solely concerned with the planning and execution of getting 4 children out on the Kindertransport, these letters give us an inspiring and heartbreaking glimpse into one family's determination to ensure the survival of their children.
Annie Cornbleet has been an Islington resident for over 45 years. She is a retired Headteacher and an award-winning Arts Education practitioner.
