About the event
Eighty years later, Hiroshima stands not only as a site of sorrow, but as a beacon of peace — a symbol of survival, healing, and the unbreakable spirit of life. Step into a space where history breathes through fragile fragments: original press photographs, survivor testimonies, and military artefacts that echo with memory.

Alongside these, new voices emerge — ten contemporary designers and artists offering works filled with symbolism, compassion, and renewal that underscore themes surrounding the exhibition. These include pieces that focus on wellbeing, the blending of heritage and cross-cultural influence, and works representing fragility in the preciousness of life.
“Glasses of Peace,” made with glass infused with the ashes of paper cranes delivered to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum on display for the first time in London, designed by second-generation atomic bomb survivor Shujiro Tanaka, 2025
The exhibition includes a living installation where we warmly invite visitors to fold…
