Food writer, cook and historian Alissa Timoshkina will present a seasonal menu inspired by her acclaimed cookbooks Salt & Time and Kapusta, alongside an exclusive preview of recipes from her forthcoming third book. Bringing together flavours and traditions from across Eastern Europe, the menu showcases a modern approach to Ashkenazi cooking, with a particular focus on vegetables, grains, herbs and time-honoured preserving techniques.

Drawing on both heritage recipes and contemporary influences, the evening’s dishes celebrate the creativity, resourcefulness and richness of Ashkenazi food culture. Expect an abundance of seasonal produce, vibrant flavours and thoughtful reinterpretations of classic ingredients and traditions.
