CKids Chanukah Block Party: A Festival of Light and Community!
This lively event will feature a range of engaging games, activities, and crafts that capture the spirit of Chanukah. Children will step into the spotlight as improv-style reporters, sharing their hilarious takes on Chanukah happenings. From spinning and sprinting at DreidelDash to tasting and rating Chanukah treats, kids will enjoy fast-paced, dynamic twists on traditional Chanukah festivities.
This year’s theme emphasises the importance of Persumei Nisa – sharing the miracle of Chanukah with our neighbours. #ShareTheLight will help do just that, as children craft glowing LED sculptures to display in their windows, showcasing the miracle of Chanukah and their Jewish pride for the whole neighborhood to see.
Of course, the joy of Chanukah is always greater when shared. Before the grand community Menorah Lighting, children will visit the “Glow & Go Post Office”, making positive resolutions and sending heartfelt Chanukah…
